Samsung Electronics conducted an investigation into the causes of SMT defects, and the analysis showed that 70% of the defects occurred in the printing part. It was realized that the majority of the 70% defects were related to steel mesh. The solution to this problem is to use a measurement system with good repeatability and reproducibility, and based on its excellent precision, the measurement system can fundamentally eliminate defects in the detection of steel mesh. Samsung has come to this conclusion and has therefore commissioned Leading Vision to develop a steel mesh inspection machine.

⇒ Status after acceptance and use
After using our products in Samsung Electronics' SMT production line, the previous defects related to steel mesh have been fundamentally eliminated. Compared to the investment, the efficiency has been recognized. Now, Samsung Electronics and its partner companies in South Korea and overseas are using this testing equipment for SMT.
